Overview
The strength of Vikra lies in precision engineering and smart manufacturing. Our goal is to unlock the full potential of marine and inland water bodies using robust robotic systems. Current developments include structural health inspection of dams, bridges and towers, silt and soil monitoring for improving waterway flow, and deep-sea research support for both academic and commercial sectors.
WaveBot is a versatile Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) designed for hydrographic survey and rescue operations. Payloads can be quickly swapped based on mission requirements. The onboard autonomy system supports both remote and fully autonomous navigation, visualized through a GUI running on a base-station laptop via a telemetry link. The system displays live position, mission progress, and battery status. Mode switching is seamless, enabling autonomous to manual control transition instantly using a long-range RC link.
